  KG ART & DESIGN brings the award-winning talent, usually found at larger agencies, to your design project. But our smaller size gives clients a more personalized approach, more direct contact with the designer, lower rates on design services and no sales representative in the middle.

  Headed by designer Katia Gelman, we are a smaller, more personal agency that's done some impressive work for many companies. We've created from logos and brochures to outdoor advertising and web design. We help businesses improve their image and get more out of their marketing.

• About the Founder

  

  Her artistic skills were discovered when she was 3 years old; since then, Katia has constantly improved and enriched these skills to accomplish unique and distinct results. She combined her talent and passion for fine art together with current technology, which has allowed her to perfect these skills and craftsmanship, and apply theory in practice using the topnotch technological advances.

  Some years later, Katia has earned her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in visual communication and design from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Armed with a degree, and agile enthusiasm, she dove into the fast-paced world of design and advertising. Throughout her award-winning career, Katia has developed brands for clients of all shapes and sizes from high tech to hospitality to healthcare – and everything in between. She joined a team of medical consultants providing regulatory compliance solutions and online learning resources for hospitals and healthcare organizations. While at MCN Healthcare, Katia applied the knowledge and unique creative ideas into vibrant designs, which contributed to successful company’s growth as well as further enhanced her skills.

  Her next adventure was with well-established luxury cosmetic retailer. Some of the nation's top retailers include Anthropologie, Henri Bendel, Restoration Hardware and Red Envelope. For the first time, Katia was involved in unique intricacies of packaging design. She taught herself engineering prototypes and applying designs, which led to a launch of a new bath and body line, featured at Anthropology store and many other retail stores.

  Soon she became part of a leading provider of in-language and multi-ethnic programming in the United States at International Channel Networks. In her new role she not only utilized her design skills and creative vision to promote and increase sales, but also applied her ethnic background, expertise and language skills to enrich marketing materials.

  Her latest endeavor is at the Colorado-based blood bank, which collects, tests, and provides blood to hospitals and healthcare facilities in the United States. In her new role, Katia provides creative vision, direction and implementation for all of companys internal and external Community Relations projects through campaign management, graphic design, publication production, as well as support and consistency with media and publication relations and advertising efforts.

  As a world traveler Katia absorbs enormous amounts of information, and constantly expands her view on design around the world. While traveling she can't help but notice the difference in purpose of design in other countries and how design shapes our cultural attitude. "People are driven by visual communications, and are acceptant of design. Therefore, art is a necessary and important element in our everyday life." That's why everyday she is in search for fresh conceptual and strategic directions for design projects. This allows her to deliver ideas and implementation that are effective to the client and little things that constantly adds richness to peoples lives.

  RESTORATION SERVICES: Careful restoration and repair of old family photos and documents can save images that would otherwise be lost forever. We can help you transform your old prints into a beautiful finished photograph by repairing torn and damaged photos, adding color to faded photos, color correct and repair damaged photos and alter/change the background of your photo.   The Session: Each photo session usually lasts 3 hours at a location of your choice. We usially have plenty of ideas in case you need a little help deciding. Feel free to bring a change of clothes or any props to give your session more variety.
  
  The Process: Following the session we will digitally edit and adjust the images as needed in order to give you a quality final product. Please allow 2-3 weeks to edit your images. Once your images are edited we will burn full size copies, usually around 75-100 high resolution proofs, to a CD that is yours.

• We estimates each project on a case-by-case basis in order to accommodate a wide variety of clients and budgets. We also offer reduced rates for non-profit organizations, start up, small businesses and entrepreneurs.
