INTRODUCE YOURSELF:
Please provide as much detailed information about your event and expectations as possible i.e. location of venue, size of event or number of subjects, times available, etc.
LET'S MEET:
If, after looking over my info, you think we may be a good fit – we will get together, talk about your event related priorities, which will help me assess what package would work best fit your needs and expectations. A signed agreement and a retainer of 50% are required to reserve the date for you.
AFTER WE DONE:
Following the session, within one month, I will edit all the images in order to give you a quality final product. Then provide you a DVD of all your photos, sized for print and web. For more info, see package description under PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES.
Q: What types of events do you cover?
Anything and everything. Corporate events, graduations, business openings, holiday and private parties, staff and group photos, product launches, galas, award ceremonies, concerts, musicals, plays, high school proms, charity events, business conferences and annual conventions, theatrical dress rehearsals and opening nights, birthdays, reunions, and of course… weddings and receptions.
Q: What are your Packages and Pricing?
My pricing is hourly based ($175/h) so it can be adjusted to your needs and budget. If you are simply price shopping, please review breakdown of EVENT, WEDDING and PORTRAIT SERVICES, however, if you’ll have a one-on-one conversation with me, I can assess what kind of package would work best for you. I can also customize a package to meet your specific needs. Contact me to discuss, and I’d be happy to make something work for you.
Q: Do you make formal & group portraits?
Absolutely! I have a shot list for you to review, update, and indicate your desires. It is important to keep in mind that a list of 30 posed shots can require up to 60 minutes. To save time I always keep the subjects aware of the scheduled time for the group shots, and appoint someone to help gather people for each photo. It is important to coordinate this beforehand to ensure that your preferred guests and family members will be present during the photographing of the group pictures.
Q: What if we have to cancel our event?
Upon booking your event I collect 1/2 of the total fee with the remainder due the day of, or no later than net 30 days after your event. Should you need to cancel your event the initial payment would be forfeited.
Q: Do you edit the photos?
Each event is edited for content (meaning you’ll never see a photo with your clients eyes shut or stuffing food in their mouths!). All of the images are first adjusted for optimal brightness, contrast, color temperature and saturation. The images are then dodged and burned as necessary to flatter and emphasize the subjects. During this process I will also artistically enhance the images based upon my vision and understanding of your desires. Finally, the images are sharpened for printing.
You will receive your images in JPEG format that are ready to be used from the moment you receive them. In addition, you will have a second web friendly copy of your photos sized to 1000 pixels on their long side. These images are a great size for quick on-the go updates or for distributing to smartphones, email, social media etc.
Q: What is your turn around time?
Typically, my answer is two weeks but I often deliver projects within five days depending on current workload. I offer same day and rush services when needed for an additional fee of ($100). When booking your event with me please make sure to let me know if you are working with tight deadlines.
